Let a carousel read like a small magazine

Canva’s Opt-Out Era reference uses restrained layout and serif type. Treat it as a direction for readable storytelling, not a promise of higher saves.

MAKE IT YOUR OWN

Book notes, personal essays and brand stories

A practical starting point

  1. On a 1080×1350 slide, begin with roughly 80px outer margins and a shared left alignment.
  2. Keep one claim per slide. Try a Noto Serif KR 700 headline with a plain sans-serif explanation.
  3. Close with a one-sentence takeaway and the relevant source.

Canva design report

The visual idea

Whitespace and an obvious reading order give the headline and body separate jobs. A calm layout can still carry a strong opinion.

Choose a story with structure

Try a three-part reflection or a book recommendation with a clear reason. Break the argument across slides rather than shrinking a long paragraph.
