A music claim? Check Studio’s new replacement tool.
YouTube announced wider availability of generated background music inside Replace song on November 3. Replacing all claimed audio can resolve the associated Content ID claim.

What changed
The tool expanded from the US to most countries outside the European Economic Area. Create in the recommended tab produces four three-minute instrumental tracks.
What to do
Check the claimed segment, choose replacement music and review its volume and coverage. All claimed audio must be replaced to resolve that claim.
Put it to use
- Open the affected video and check the music claim in web Studio.
- Look for Create inside Replace song.
- Review the entire claimed segment and the processing result.
Not available in the Studio mobile app at announcement. This does not resolve every copyright issue or a copyright strike. The generated music is supplied for content on YouTube, not unrestricted use on other platforms.
